Donald L. Peyton, 73, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Springfield on April 10, 1951.

Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL 62703. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Butler Funeral Home- Springfield.

Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery with Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County and the United States Marine Corps.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
