District 186 may soon have the money it needs to start renovations and building projects for some of its schools. Superintendent Jennifer Gill said Tuesday’s board approval for the issuance of up to $90 million in bonds will help with the comprehensive reconstruction and addition to Springfield High School, a new Owen Marsh Elementary School, a new consolidated elementary school and renovations at Southeast High School. Gills says the district may look at an additional $24 million in bonds in the future to help with the renovation and construction projects as well.
