The Springfield Police Department has partnered with LeadsOnline to enhance efforts in tracking and recovering stolen merchandise. When items are sold to pawn shops, product information, including serial numbers, is entered into the LeadsOnline database. This system enables detectives to search for and recover stolen items more efficiently.

We encourage all residents to take advantage of ReportIt, a secure and free online service that allows you to record serial numbers and upload images of your valuables. In the event of a theft, having this information on hand will greatly help investigators recover your belongings.
