Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Springfield Police recovered over 65 grams of cocaine after serving a search warrant on a residence in the 200 block of Parker Avenue late Thursday morning. Prior to executing the search warrant, SPD arrested 36-year-old Cassanova Young and found him to be in possession of crack cocaine.

Police report a digital scale and packing materials were also found at the residence. Young was arrested for manufacture and delivery of 15-100 grams of a controlled substance within 50 feet of a school.
