Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – October is officially designated as Black Cat Awareness month. The month is meant to promote adoption of black cats who, sadly, have lower adoption rates. Half Dome is a lovely house panther kitten with her sweet dial turned all the way up. Now about 9 months old, she arrived on September 10 as a stray, was not microchipped, and has gone unclaimed. Due to space constraints at the shelter, Half Dome is currently sharing her cage with another kitty and getting along fine, so she should be good with a feline sibling as long as introductions are handled appropriately. Half Dome will go home with you spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated appropriate to age. She is negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV).
