Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week is Duo, a 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix. Duo came in as a confiscation from an unfortunate situation in August. She’s a great girl to spend time with, easy to walk on a leash and sweet natured with her human friends.

Even though Duo is sweet and easy to walk potential adopters will need to keep in mind she is a Cattle Dog. That means she’s a smart girl who will need to be in a home where she gets mental stimulation and exercise. She’ll need a big backyard and a friend who is willing and able to let her spend time outside exploring.
