Springfield, IL  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control Dog of the Week is a beautiful superstar.

Sarah is a very friendly girl who has a sweet personality and a gentle heart. She’s 7 years old and has been living in a stressful kennel at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center since July. This girl just wants to be loved. She loves people. When she is out of her kennel or at off-site adoption events she greets everyone with a wiggle and a snuggle. Sarah always has a big smile on her face. She’s a big strong girl who is always ready for walks and adventures.

Please come out and meet her at SCACAC Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. If you’re not sure about adoption, please ask about fostering Sarah.
