Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The City of Springfield has a new professional planner in the Office of Planning and Economic Development. Sean Pritchard started in the role in November and will assist the economic development director with ongoing and future projects.
Pritchard brings experience working in both the public and private sectors. He previously worked for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity including as acting deputy director of business development. According to a news release from the city, Pritchard contributed to the development and management of incentive programs that generated over $10 billion in business investments across the state.
“I’m excited to contribute to the City of Springfield’s growth and development, and I look forward to working with the community on current and future projects,” said Pritchard.
