(CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Rochester Schools Board of Education has hired a Monticello-based law firm to lead an independent investigation into Superintendent Dan Cox, who was placed on paid administrative leave on Monday. On Thursday, the board announced it had retained Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk & Miller, Ltd., a firm specializing in school, education, and labor law, as well as independent investigations of employee matters.
In an official news release, the district confirmed the firm’s role in conducting a thorough and impartial review. However, the release did not specify the reason for the investigation, citing the district’s policy of not commenting on ongoing investigations or personnel matters.
