Multiple vehicle break-ins and two stolen vehicles were reported to Springfield Police on Monday.  Three reports were taken from the 400 and 500 blocks of Williams Blvd. Five
reports taken from the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Seven Pines Road, and five reports taken from the 2200 block of Boysenberry Lane and the 3000 block of Smythberry Drive

There are several juvenile suspects in the case. One 17-year-old has been arrested for possession of stolen property, and more arrests are anticipated.

The Springfield Police Department would like to remind the Springfield community of preventative measures to protect themselves from vehicle theft and burglary to motor vehicles.

  • Take your vehicle’s key; do not leave it in your vehicle.
  •  Close and lock all windows and doors when you park.
  • Park in well-lit areas if possible.
  • Never leave valuables in your vehicle, especially if they can be seen from outside the vehicle.
