A Taylorville man has been sentenced to seven years and eight months in federal prison for distribution of meth. Jamal Shehadeh, 40, was convicted last fall after selling the drug to a confidential source in 2021. The judge said she believed Shehadeh lied on the stand and also cited his record of two previous federal convictions in sentencing.
