But under current Illinois liquor laws, he would be legally prohibited from doing so due to a strict 200-barrel annual limit on self-distribution. A bill currently being considered by the General Assembly might change that.

Capital City McDonald’s has acquired all 11 stores in Springfield, in addition to five others throughout central Illinois.
