Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Stacy Reed from the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln joined grant recipients Kim Turner with the Regional housing and Supportive Services and Lincoln and Pastor Jesse Herring with Table of Life Ministry to talk with Joey McLaughlin on the WTAX Morning NewsWatch about the Women for Women grants that were awarded to the organizations – $30,000 to the regional Housing and Supportive Services and $37,000 to Table of life Ministry.
The Women for Women group gives out 67 thousand dollars in grants to local nonprofits
Since its inception in 2006, Women for Women members have granted more than $680,000 to impact women and children in our community.
