St. Louis, MO (CAPITOL NEWS NOW) – A grocery store chain, through the manufacturer, is recalling one of its products over concerns that it’s contaminated with salmonella.

St. Louis-based Schnuck’s says it is recalling mango salsa found in its produce departments.

At issue, the chain says, is that cucumber contained in the salsa may have been contaminated with salmonella.

While it’s branded with the Schnuck’s name, the salsa was manufactured by United Fruit & Produce Company.
