Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The Springfield Police Department is proud to launch the Lights On! program—a community-focused initiative that allows officers to issue repair vouchers instead of tickets for minor vehicle equipment violations like broken headlights or taillights.

Thanks to state grant funding, these vouchers (up to $250) can be used at participating local shops to help ease financial burdens and keep our roads safer.
