During the morning hours last Friday, Montgomery County Deputies, US Marshals, and IDOC Parole Agents went to a home in rural Hillsboro in order to arrest 47 year old William Dyer.

Dyer was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. Dyer was found inside his home and taken into custody.

During Dyer’s arrest, suspected drug paraphernalia was seen inside the residence so a search warrant was granted.

Suspected meth, firearm ammunition, and drug paraphernalia were found inside the home.

Dyer was eventually transferred to the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Charges of Meth Possession are also being sought against an adult female who was inside the residence with Dyer.
