Lite wintry mix headed for Central Illinois

This will bring some light snow into Central Illinois by daybreak Wednesday, especially southwest.

(WAND WEATHER) – More seasonal temperatures will close out the year after the recent warmth.

After high temperatures in the 50s and 60s over the Christmas holiday weekend, cooler weather returns this week.

Skies will become partly to mostly sunny today with highs in the low-to-mid-40s.

Low pressure spinning out in the Plains will finally begin to move eastward.

This will bring some light snow into Central Illinois by daybreak Wednesday, especially southwest.

We’ll see a wintry mix Wednesday and Thursday.  Highs will be around the low-40s with lows in the low-30s.

It’ll be mostly rain or a mix during the day and snow at night.  There could be some minor accumulations.
