Three suspects are being sought in connection with an attempted motor vehicle theft that resulted in $1500 in damages.

Its the Crime Stoppers crime of the week. Springfield Police say it happened in the 1000 block of S. 2nd St during the nighttime hours between January 3rd and 4th.

A vehicle window had been broken out and the steering column had been removed.
