Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Over the weekend, journalists from around the state gathered in Springfield to get a chance to meet many of the announced candidates for a seat in the U.S. Senate from Illinois in next year’s election. The winner will replace incumbent Sen. Dick Durbin, who is retiring. At the University of Illinois Springfield Saturday, WTAX’s Dave Dahl and Will Stevenson talked with Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi.
