The Sangamon County Board has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed Navigator carbon-dioxide pipeline project at 5:30 p.m. July 17 at the BOS Center in Springfield. The Illinois Commerce Commission recommended denial, stating the project “is not a benefit to the citizens of Illinois nor in the public interest.”
