Springfield Police were busy over the weekend, making a total of eight firearm arrests. The arrests resulted from walking patrols, traffic stops, ShotSpotter responses, and search warrants.
- Jonathan D. Chillis: male, 23-years-old – arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of cannabis over 10 grams
- Ahmad D. Dixon: male, 31-years-old – arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a firearm – no FOID
- Daran B. Williams: male, 32-years-old – arrested for armed habitual criminal, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a firearm – no FOID
- Aaron L. Cutler; male, 19-years-old – arrested for possession of a firearm – no FOID, delivery of cannabis over 500 grams
- Joshua J. Huddleston: male, 19-years-old – arrested for delivery of cannabis over 500 grams, possession of a firearm – no FOID, obstructing justice, resisting/obstructing a police officer, Sangamon County warrant for domestic battery, and Macoupin County warrant for speeding
- Doyrail T. Boyd: male, 33-years-old – arrested for armed violence, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, delivery of cannabis over 30 grams, possession of a firearm – no FOID, possession of cannabis over 100 grams
- Jennifer N. Brady: female, 28 years old – arrested for armed violence, methamphetamine possession, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting a police officer
- Johnny D. Berry: male, 32-years-old – arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, resisting a police officer, two warrants from Mississippi for probation violation and homicide.
