SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The average price of a gallon of diesel fuel nationwide dropped briefly, but according to AAA, remains above $6 nationally, and closer to $6.50 in the Springfield area.  That’s going to hit trucking companies and semi drivers hard — and, eventually, will be passed down to everyone else.  Matthew Hart, Executive Director, Illinois Trucking Association, talks with Will Stevenson on the WTAX Morning Newswatch.
