SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – AM radio may seem like old technology to some — especially, apparently, to automobile manufacturers — but it could stand the test of time, especially when bad weather or other emergencies strike.  That’s why Dennis Lyle,  CEO of the Illinois Broadcasters Association, says the U.S. House passing the “AM Radio in Every Vehicle Act” is close to a big win.  Lyle talks to Will Stevenson on the WTAX Morning Newswatch.  WTAX is a member of the Illinois Broadcasters Association.
