SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) -A Springfield man who was accused of hiding the death of a woman believed to be his wife has pleaded guilty.

According to Sangamon County Court records, Adam Corbin, 60, pleaded guilty this month to charges of Concealment of a Death, Abuse of a Corpse, and Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.  He will be sentenced November 6th.

Corbin was arrested last November after police were sent to his home for a well-being check.

Nancy Corbin was found in a waste containe, and the coroner said at the time she was in “an advanced state of decomposition.”
