SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Reisch Brewery was once located in Springfield, and while the brewery no longer is open, Reisch Charities is still here.  And it’s hosting an actual Major League Eating competition during this weekend’s International Route 66 Mother Road Festival.  The subject of the eating is Cozy Dogs, and among the stars will be Patrick “Deep Dish” Bertoletti.  Bertoletti and Reisch Charities’ Roy Mayfield talk with Will Stevenson on the WTAX Morning Newswatch.
