SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – October is the season to dress up for Halloween, but the Feral Funders have a different costume in mind for you. Their annual “Wigs and Muumuus” fundraising event is coming up on October 17th, in Chatham! Both Dana Ball and Amy Kusha of the Feral Funders were guest on the WTAX Morning Newswatch bringing the hype for their upcoming fundraising event “Wigs and Muumuus”.

Kusha tells us what the Feral Funders is.

“We are a group of friends who decided that we wanted to focus solely on fundraising for animal rescues. And it’s not just for cats. We were out at the Roaring Lion ranch yesterday and we were helping out the donkey rescue.
Any animal that needs help, I mean, that’s what our focus is. “

Ball goes into detail on the date of the event.

“October 17th, so not this coming Saturday, but the Saturday after, from one to 430 in Chatham at AJ’s Corner.
It’s just a whole lot of fun. You can’t go wrong with this fundraiser, and it’s from one to 430 in the afternoon. So, if you have plans in the evening, keep them.
Yeah, this is your little appetizer for the day and you’re going to be in the best mood.”
