The death of 72-year-old Darlene O’Bryan of Springfield has been ruled a homicide, and the case remains under investigation by the Springfield Police Department and the Sangamon County Coroner. When SPD responded to a report of an unresponsive woman in the 200 block of N. Daniel on Wednesday morning around 8 a.m., they found O’Bryan deceased at her home.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Springfield Police Department or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at 217-788-8427 or at cashfortips.us.
