Demolition of Lutheran High School’s main building on West Washington will start in late summer. The school’s board of directors has been looking at site options for a potential future campus, according to a letter from Principal Zack Klug.

The school has retained an architect to draw up plans for a new building, and a public sale of salvageable materials from the old campus will happen in late spring.  The current high school was deemed unsafe for use due to mine subsidence that caused cracks in the walls and drops in the floors.
