Springfield, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – A 29-year-old Springfield man will spend two-and-a-half years in prison for robbing a Springfield Marine Bank location on Sangamon Avenue. Kyle W. Harris was sentenced Monday.

Evidence in the trial showed that Harris robbed the bank of just over $6,000 on December 15, 2021, after passing a teller a note indicating he would shoot everyone in the bank. Harris pled guilty last December and has been in the custody of United States Marshals since his plea.
