Giving kids a way to deal with the loss of a loved one is the goal behind the annual Kids Good Grief camp from Staab Funeral Home. Dr. Melissa Franzen, appearing on the WTAX Morning Newswatch, says the one-day camp provides kids ages six to 12 with a way to express their feelings through activities like a memory wheel. Franzen says kids are encouraged to talk about their feelings and loss with other children their age, and it lets them know they are not alone. The camp is May 7th at Erin’s Pavilion.
