State Police say I-55 reopened this morning in both directions after Monday’s crash that killed six people.

One of the deceased has been identified: Shirley Harper, 88, of Franklin, Wis. Police say the Montgomery County coroner’s office is working to identify the rest and notify families.

72 vehicles were involved, 37 people were taken to hospitals, and the fatalities were all in the northbound lanes of the interstate.

The dust-driven wreck remains under investigation.
