Dianna May Julius, 76, of Springfield, IL passed away on Monday July 8, 2024.

Dianna was born on October 15, 1947, and the daughter of Harvey and Emma Hardwick.

If you ask the people that loved and knew her, she was known as a family woman, but also as the “warden” and the “peacemaker”. She cared deeply about her family. Dianna was very helpful to many people.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Friesland; 2 sons, Daniel Julius and Mark Sellenger; 1 daughter, Denise Beachler; 2 brothers, Larry Hardwick and Rodney Hardwick; and 1 sister, Sylvia Dodd.

Dianna is survived by her children, Dieanna Mangrum, Dawn Miller, David Julius, and Cynthia Julius; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Linnea Oliver and Marsha Lesher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation services are being accorded and no services are being held at this time.

Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home in Springfield, IL is in charge of arrangements.
