The Springfield Firefighter Department is offering an opportunity for anyone interested in the profession of firefighting.

Applications will be accepted online through the City of Springfield’s website until Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. CST.

Applicants will have a chance to participate in the new entry-level testing program that provides insight into what it takes to be a firefighter.
