A drug dealer whose friends tried to bust him out of the Sangamon County Jail has been sentenced to 18 1/2 years in federal prison.

41-year-old Randy Bull of Alton, pleaded guilty to both crimes this year.

A news release from the US attorney’s office says he admitted responsibility for more than 25 pounds of “ice meth.”
