20-year-old Brock Mize of Hillsboro is facing charges including aggravated battery to a police officer after a police pursuit that reportedly including multiple instances of hand gestures. Police report Mize was spinning the tires on his 2002 Chevy Cavalier and driving recklessly at the Lake Glenn Shoals emergency spillway.

When a Hillsboro office attempted to stop Mize, he reportedly drove off and gave the officer hand gestures. The gestures continued…according to police…until Mize stopped at a residence on Jefferson Street. That’s where a short physical struggle with officers occurred. Mize also faces charges of reckless driving, fleeing police, and obstructing an officer.
