A Springfield man has been sentenced to five years in prison for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and a substance containing cocaine base or crack in addition to possession of a firearm related to a drug trafficking crime.

46-year-old Jason Craig was indicted in 2019 and found guilty last June. The Springfield Police Department, Illinois State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated the case as part of the Project Safe Neighborhoods program.
