U.S. Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski will be working for Illinois’ farmers as a member of the House Agriculture Committee. Budzinski, appearing on the WTAX Morning Newswatch, says she has set her goals when it comes to the farm bill…which expires this year.

Budzinski wants to focus on supporting family farmers, securing more funding for agriculture research (such as research done at the University of Illinois), and revitalizing rural areas through supporting main street and small business.
