UPDATE: Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon says the man killed Saturday was Allen Klee, 61, Springfield.

Springfield police are investigating a collision in which a pedestrian was killed.

This happened at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at North Eighth Street and North Grand Avenue.

Police say this is being treated as a hit-and-run and say a dark-colored SUV could be involved.
