Ready, set, library! National Library Week is April 7–13, 2024, and the Lincoln Library encourages everyone in the community to visit and take part in the festivities and explore all the library has to offer.
Libraries give us a green light to experience something truly special: a place to connect with others, learn new skills, and pursue our passions. Lincoln Library offers a wide array of programs, classes and resources, including our Library of Things Collection, where you can check out a power washer, karaoke machine, blood pressure monitor and so much more!
Libraries play a pivotal role in economic development by providing resources and support for job seekers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
This National Library Week the Lincoln Library is offering these reoccurring and/or unique programs:
- Toddler Time from 10:15am to 11:00am on Monday, April 8th at the Youth Services Department
- Teen Board Games and More from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday, April 10th in the Teen Zone
- Preschool Storytime from 10:30am to 11:00am on Thursday, April 11th at the Youth Services Department
- Microsoft Word Basics from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Thursday, April 11th in the Nancy Huntley Computer Classroom
In addition to our National Library Week programming, we will have daily posts on Facebook and Instagram highlighting a different department each day of Library week.
