U.S. Senator Dick Durbin is recovering from surgery. Durbin underwent total knee replacement surgery for his left knee at Rush Medical Center in Oak Brook Tuesday. Durbin points his “unremarkable high school football career” as a contributor to the need to replace the joint. Durbin will remain in Illinois until cleared by his doctor to return to Washington D.C.
