As the weekend begins utility crews resume their efforts to restore power to the remaining over 1,500 CWLP customers left without electricity since the devastating storm that swept through the area leaving a wake of devastation June 29th.

As of this writing CWLP says on their website that 2.2 percent of customers are still without power.

The zip codes that are most affected are 62702 (241), 62703 (621) and 62704 (592).

There is some controversy over whether union employees are required to work over the weekend.
