Springfield Police report an arrest has been made in connection with a shooting in the Enos Park neighborhood last Thursday.

The suspect is identified as 22-year-old Ronson Bell of Springfield. He was taken into custody Monday on multiple drug and weapons charges.

Last Thursday late afternoon, officers responded to call in the area of North 7th and Bergen Streets of a man who had been shot. The 42-year-old victim suffered a nonlife threatening wound to his right hip and was treated at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
