A wrongful termination settlement is on track to pass the Springfield city council Tuesday, but not before former mayor Jim Langfelder throws in some input.

Langfelder, who says the award of lost wages and attorney’s fees should be appealed, said the ordinance should include the facts that a jury awarded the plaintiff a dollar from the city – and nothing from him.
