Here are some essential safety tips to keep your home and loved ones safe:

  • If a fire starts in the oven or microwave, keep the door closed and unplug it or turn the heat off.
  • Have an extinguisher close by and read the instructions so you’re prepared to use it quickly.
  •  Whenever a fire starts in the home, get everyone out, immediately call 911, and only try to use an extinguisher if it’s safe.
