Springfield, ILĀ  (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – The season of campus protests is upon us. But Gov. JB Pritzker says you can’t just lump all of them together as “anti-war” protests.

“There are anti-war protestors out there,” Pritzker told reporters Wednesday. “There are people who are anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian, which is different from just being anti-war. There are some bad actors out there, people who are yelling anti-Semitic epithets and have forever been bigoted.”

The governor, adding that protests are one thing while obstructing education is another, spoke to reporters after addressing the annual conference of the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association and the Illinois Retail Merchants Association.
