A new partnership between Lincoln Land Community College and Handshake, a leading career platform, aims to connect the college’s students directly with employers.  LLCC’s Josh Collins, appearing on the WTAX Morning Newswatch, says they are in the employer launch phase right now with Handshake. The college is recruiting employers to the platform, so there will be a robust set of job and internship opportunities for LLCC students when they sign on starting April 13th.

Collins says Handshake is free for employers and students. He adds that it simplifies the process of connecting employers and students, because some employers are already familiar with Handshake. Students will be able to use the platform throughout their time at LLCC and beyond, if they choose to go on to a university, according to Collins.
