The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes have a new Field Manager. Brad Gyorkos, who spent the previous two summers with the Quincy Gems, will join the Shoes for the 2024 season. Under Gyorkos’ leadership, the Gems had two consecutive playoff appearances, two division championships and an appearance in last season’s Prospect League Championship Series.

Gyorkos is from Rockford and is also the head coach at Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.
Gyorkos says he can’t wait to start building a winning culture and atmosphere that the Lucky Horseshoes fans deserve.
