Kara Rapacz, the principal at Sacred Heart-Griffin High School, announced her resignation today.  She plans to leave at the end of this school year.  Rapacz has been with SHG for 16 years and as principal for the last six years.  Before that, she was the assistant principal and director of support services.  President of SHG Sister Katherine O’Connor says Rapacz has been an outstanding principal, and she is grateful for her dedicated service.  She adds that it is a real loss to SHG.

In a statement issued today by Rapacz, she expressed gratitude toward the parents of SHG students for allowing her to be blessed by them in “a monumental way”, and after much prayer and reflection, she decided it was time for a new leader to take her place.
