After executing a search warrant, the Springfield Police Street Crimes Unit seized cannabis, psilocybin (a psychedelic naturally occurring drug compound), more than $4,000 in cash, and a stolen 9 mm Glock handgun from a residence in the 2100 block of South 14th Street on Tuesday. Reginald Fuller (48), Lucas Rutherford (28), and Marcus Kincaid (31), all of Springfield, were taken into custody.
Fuller was arrested for armed habitual criminal, armed violence, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and delivery of cannabis over 500 grams.
Rutherford was arrested for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and delivery of cannabis over 500 grams. Kincaid was arrested for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, delivery of cannabis over 500 grams, and resisting arrest.
All three were booked into the Sangamon County Jail and are awaiting formal charges from the Sangamon County States Attorney’s Office.
