Thursday two arrests were made in connection with the June 17th shooting that happened
outside of White Oaks Mall.

19 year old Selvonte Williams of Springfield, was arrested on a warrant for aggravated
battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a gang member, and
mob action.

He is currently at the Sangamon County Jail with a bond amount of $500,000.

Also 19 year old Calvin Shepherd of Springfield, was arrested on a warrant for mob action.

Shepherd is currently at the Sangamon County Jail with a bond amount of $100,000.

Shortly after the shooting a 23 year old man arrived at HSHS St. John’s Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. His condition was last updated as non-life threatening.
